A Fresh Start.

Just a quick note to let you know Ryan and I moved this past weekend.  We are still in Augusta, but a new location.  Ryan starts a new job tomorrow and I’m still plugging away at the day job and weddings/Etsy gig after hours and on the weekends.

We are excited about a “fresh start” in the new house.

is this thing on?

Hi friends.  Its been a while since I posted last.  And while I’d like to say I missed you, the truth is I’ve been crazy busy!  Here’s a little recap of what I’ve been up to:

May – got promoted at work, started process to hire my replacement, went to Wilmington, NC and Charlotte, NC for NASCAR race.  Came home to find our house broken into and lots of insurance claims later, we are “whole” again.

June – traveled to Las Vegas and Napa Valley (hot air ballroon rides, Jelly Belly factory tours, lots of wine tastings and second NASCAR race of the year), hired my replacement

July – traveled to Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, and Dublin, VA for 5th annual cousins weekend at the lake

August – traveled to Philadelphia for Atlanta Braves game, Hershey, PA for JT & JayZ convert, spent 3 days in Washington, D.C., drove to Jacksonville, FL and Palm Coast, FL for my first wedding conference!!, spent 24 hours in Point Clear, Al, ended the month with a trip to Atlanta for a Braves Game & NASCAR race (third race of the year)

September – spent a week in D.C. for work, celebrated two years of marriage! and heading to Savannah for a bachelorette party

Phew.  Tired just thinking of what’s been going on the past few months.  On top of all this travel, I’m putting in 40+ hours a week at my day job, continuing to fulfill Etsy shop orders, designing a few fun wedding projects AND trying to figure out where we will live come Nov. 1.

Hopefully I’ll be able to return to regular posting soon…in the mean time make sure you follow me on Twitter & Instagram to keep up with life in the south.  I’m @missprissypaige on both accounts.

Girls Weekend.

carolina_beach_NC_miss prissy paige

After a busy trip to D.C. last week for work, I got to relax with some sun & sand at Carolina Beach with Leigh of Kesler Expresler. Boy was it needed!

I’m also psyched to report yesterday I had a HUGE Etsy sale day.  I received two requests for custom orders for corporate events, one for 850 and one for 500.  I am beyond thrilled (and slightly freaking out about the turnaround time)!  If you are in Georgia and looking for something to do this weekend, feel free to offer your assistance!  #thankgoodnessforthelongweekend

Hello Pretty!

Hello!  Welcome to the new miss prissy paige.  Isn’t she pretty?  I LOVE the new logo and the whole look & feel.  I’m still tweaking some of the pages so hold tight with me for a few more days but I wanted to finally show off the new site.

Big thank you to Angela of Saffron Avenue for all her fabulous help in re-creating the new miss prissy paige weddings!  I love the clean & pretty lines of the new site and logo and she was a dream to work with :)

busy bee.

Hi friends.  Just stopping for a quick hello and to let you know I’m still alive.  I’ve been incredibly busy so far and can’t believe its already March!  The first part of the year is always really busy for me with work and that’s proving so now more than ever.  I just wrapped up my first conference of the year in California earlier this week, I have one in Vegas and one in Maryland in the next 6 weeks.  On top of that, my Etsy shop has picked up and I’m in the process of transitioning to WordPress.  Say a prayer, that things will slow down soon!

What’s going on in your world?

2013 – woah!

Was it just me or did the holidays fly by?  First we were in Dallas for Thanksgiving, then putting up our Christmas tree, flying to Virginia to see family and then BAM – it was New Years Eve!  I hope you & yours rung in the New Year in a fabulous fashion!  Ryan and I spent in on our pjs on the couch with champagne.  It was perfect.

I’m getting back into the swing of things here at miss prissy paige.  I spent a lot of time over the holidays thinking about my hopes and dreams for 2013.  From where I want to take my business, to strengthening relationships with those I love, finding my “place” and giving back more-I have big plans for 2013.  I’ll be switching things up on the blog and hope you continue to follow along in my journey to grow this business that I’m so passionate about.  If you love what you do, it never feels like work, right.

p.s.  Did I ever tell you that 13 was my lucky number?  I have a feeling its going to a great year!
