its been a really long time since i set some goals {aside from mail this etsy order by x date!|. i think about my 2012 goals weekly and wonder if i’m pushing myself to meet them. i had big goals for 2012.
number one on my list: launch my business. happy to report, i accomplished this goal! i opened my etsy shop in february. i sold 100 orders in 100 days. i had my first wedding in april. {shameless plug: i’m still booking brides for 2012 if you know if someone!}
another big goal: build my savings. while there isn’t a baby bump now, we do want kids in the future. but before that happens, we need to build our savings. we are doing a good job of putting money away monthly, but can we push ourselves harder? you bet.
live simply. what does this mean? quite frankly buy less crap. lauren’s posts on living simply are great reminders about living with less and living uncluttered.
create. i do this almost daily creating new designs for my etsy clients. i’d like to spend a little more time creating for me. i went a little crazy on pinterest the other night pinning crafts and diy ideas.
with summer in full swing for some, i wanted to set some personal and professional goals to help re-focus me on my 2012 goals.
personal:
travel. ryan and i have a mini vacation planned for late june. annual cousins weekend. leigh & i have a girls weekend planned for august. san diego and anaheim trips in july.
take more pictures. i want to photograph more “moments” and less stuff.
reconnect. send letters. call friends. facetime with family. text less and talk more.
be adventurous.
relax.
professional:
develop marketing plan. i’ve been so busy, i haven’t had time to market. maybe its a good thing?
build referral system.
send congratulatory notes.
create blogging editorial calendar.
update pictures.
network.
what’s your goal for this summer?

Those sound like great goals for summer! Sounds like you will be doing a lot of traveling. :) My goals for the summer are to complete as many things on my 30 by 30 list as I can and also to find a job!
P.S. Thanks for the shout out :)
