sure, its tuesday, but yesterday was a holiday so today is my monday. i love a short week!
this past weekend, my mom came to visit and i decided to play tourist with her. we went on a historic trolley tour of augusta, a sunset booze cruise on the savannah river, visited the farmers market on the river, did a little shopping at surrey center (i scored the shirt i’m wearing in the photo below for next to nothing – and it matches my turquoise pants PERFECTLY!), enjoyed some cocktails, ate ALOT of cake and just hung out. it was so relaxing and yet busy at the same time. here’s a quick photo recap of our weekend.
mom brought a recipe for coke floats using whipped cream vodka. its my new favorite drink. come back tomorrow for the recipe! she also brought her dog, brody, isn’t he the cutest puppy!
this month is busy for the holmes. we are looking for a new place to call home in augusta (possibly, moving is such a pain!), heading to san diego this weekend and charleston the next, ryan’s playing in a softball and flag football league with games and practice every other day it seems like, i’ve got some volunteer work for junior league on the calendar and of course some fun date nights.
on the mpp business front, i have some new vinyl ideas i want to offer for the holidays and i just need to carve some time out to get some samples done and photographed for the etsy shop. i’m also working on trying to photograph new styles of straws and stir sticks. but my BIGGEST goal is to work more on marketing the planning side of my business, what i’m truly passionate about. calling all southern brides…i’m here to help :)
